Video

I’ve always loved the immediacy the that video offered. It gave me the means to communicate my artistic vision quickly. I went to school for video production in the early 90′s, but it wasn’t until Mini DV came along that my work with video progressed. Early on I used my camera to create video art and mini documentaries.

In 2003 I moved to New York City and began working for a small production company editing and shooting on various commercial and documentary projects. I was able to gain a great deal of experience in a short amount of time. My passion for documentary filmmaking began to grow. Through my experiences in NYC I started to focus more on video editing as a craft.

I spent as much time as I could learning how to use video editing software. My skills improved and I’ve been working as a freelance video editor for the last 8 years. I am currently finishing a documentary about a musical performance collective titled Non Stop Bhangra as well as editing other client videos. You can see samples of my work at the above menu.
